A successful CRIME - FREE WORKPLACE has programs that begin with
prevention and focus on designing defensible space and appropriate continuing observation
of personal behavior in the secure environment. Even the best of those organizations have
occasional event. Unfortunately, we often meet new clients on the wrong swing of the
pendulum and we have to start with the development of a formal security policy, a system
of personnel evaluation, and a method of procedural enforcement. Policy is redefined by
correcting breaches of company expectations. Our investigations define the cause of the
event with recommendations for correction. Examples of causative factors are:
Current phsychological problem on the part of a staff or
family member
Criminal behavior by staff or intruders into your secure
environment
Illegal use or possession of drugs or alchohol on or around
the facility
Corruption on the part of supervisors and managers
Untrustworthyness on the part of employees, contractors or
venders
Inappropriate behavior by staff or customers impacting the
organization.

Document related physical and objective evidence to guide
management action
Conduct structure interviews and interrogations to record
subjective evidence
Administer polygraph examinations to verify the truth
Coordinate the use of outside experts to analyze or collect
specialized evidence.
These undesirable incidents may be commited by managers, employees,
venders, contractors, and even customers. A prompt and effective response to such events
or allegations is appropriate. The purpose of the response is documentation and
resolution. It involves the documentation of some specific identifiable happening for the
purposes of gathering evidence that will lead to the solution or resolution of that event.
